AIKATSU☆STARS! is a Japanese idol unit formed in 2014, primarily known for providing theme songs and insert songs for the Data Carddass game Aikatsu! and the television anime series Aikatsu! and Aikatsu Stars!. The group was created as a successor to the unit STAR☆ANIS and became the main musical act for the franchise starting from the third season of the original Aikatsu! anime and throughout the entire run of Aikatsu Stars!.

The unit's original lineup consisted of Ruka (Ruka Endo), Mona (Mona Tomiyama), and Miki (Miki Mirai). Miho (Miho Amamiya) joined the group shortly after its formation. In April 2015, Nanase (Nanase Matsuoka) and Kana (Kana Hoshizaki) were added as new members. A significant lineup change occurred in early 2016 when Mona graduated from the group in March, and two new members, Rie (Rie Fujishiro) and Sena (Sena Horikoshi), joined, establishing a core group of seven singers. Members of AIKATSU☆STARS! are also known for being the singing voices for specific characters in the Aikatsu! franchise.

The group has an extensive discography of singles, albums, and extended plays. Their notable singles include Du-Du-Wa DO IT!! / Good morning my dream (October 2014), START DASH SENSATION / lucky train! (October 2015), and STARDOM! / Bon Bon Voyage! (April 2017). Their album releases include Joyful Dance (June 2015), Colorful Smile (August 2015), the compilation album Lovely Party!! (March 2016), and the two best albums BRILLIANT☆STARS and STARS☆SHOWER (both July 2018) which compile songs from the Aikatsu Stars! television series. In 2022, the group contributed to the 10th anniversary album for the Aikatsu! series, Rainbow Canvas, which includes new recordings and covers.

Musically, AIKATSU☆STARS! performs a wide range of pop genres consistent with the idol anime genre. Their songs are frequently produced by notable Japanese music creators, including the composer collective MONACA and the production unit onetrap. Recurring lyricists include Saori Kodama, Miho Karasawa, and Junko Tsuji. Many tracks are character songs, with specific members of AIKATSU☆STARS! singing as the character they voice in the anime. The group often collaborates with members of STAR☆ANIS, with several tracks featuring vocalists from both units.

The group is signed to the Lantis label and was active as a primary musical act for the Aikatsu! franchise from its formation in 2014 until the conclusion of the Aikatsu Stars! anime project, after which the unit is considered dissolved. Their industry significance lies in being a central pillar of the Aikatsu! multimedia franchise's music, helping to define the sound of the series for multiple seasons and across various game and anime releases.
