Description
IN2IT is a South Korean boy band that performed the ending theme song for the anime series Duel Masters!!. The group was formed through the 2016 Mnet survival program Boys24 and originally debuted in South Korea on October 26, 2017, with the extended play Carpe Diem under MMO Entertainment and Stone Music Entertainment. The group's name combines the words intuit and into it, intended to convey that fans would fall for their intuitive charms. IN2IT originally consisted of eight members but later reorganized into a six-member group featuring Yoo Ji-ahn, Jung Yeon-tae, Hwang In-ho, Han Hyun-uk, Lee In-pyo, and Isaac Voo.
The group is credited for the song I'm Your Joker, which served as the fourth ending theme for the 2019 television anime Duel Masters!!, covering episodes 39 through 51. This single marked IN2IT's Japanese debut and was released physically on March 4, 2020, following a digital release of the TV anime version on January 25, 2020. The single reached number 19 on the Japanese charts. The song is an R&B track co-written by RYUJA and DAISUKE, composers known for their work with BTS and EXILE SHOKICHI. The single also included the B-side track Fire In My Heart, which was released as a separate digital single later in March 2020.
Prior to their Japanese debut, IN2IT had released several Korean albums including the single albums SnapShot in April 2018, Into the Night Fever in July 2018, and the extended play Puzzle in November 2019. Their debut Korean single Amazing was a dance-pop song with tropical and trap influences. The group also contributed the song Snapshot to the soundtrack of the 2019 Korean drama Her Private Life. Member Jeong Yeon-tae performed the solo track My Way for the 2017 drama Revolutionary Love.
After their contract with MMO Entertainment ended on January 31, 2020, IN2IT continued as an independent group. In May 2023, the group announced they would rebrand under the new name Skye. The group's musical identity centers on K-pop with influences ranging from dance-pop and synthpop to R&B, as demonstrated by their anime theme song work which brought them into the Japanese market.
