Asami Imai is a Japanese voice actress, singer, and narrator with over two decades of experience in the anime and video game industry. She is widely recognized for her versatile vocal performances, often portraying characters with calm exteriors and complex inner lives, as well as those with energetic or aggressive personalities. She is professionally affiliated with the talent agency Early Wing.

Born in Tokyo on May 16, 1977, Imai spent much of her formative years in Yamaguchi Prefecture. She graduated from Meiji University's School of Arts and Letters, where she majored in drama and theater arts. Her entry into the industry came in 1998 when she won the Grand Prize in the voice actress category at the Enix Anime Awards while still a university student. She made her professional debut the following year in a drama CD.
